Empowering people to tackle cancer and take up screenings across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, and Powys.

LiveLife on the radio

Cancer Champions can fufil their role simply by chatting to family friends, or work colleagues about caner. But some may wish to get their voice out in other ways too. During Men’s Health week in November, our Lingen Davies LiveLife lead, Miranda was on Radio Shropshire with Martin, a volunteer to talk about prostate cancer and the importance of getting signs and symptoms checked out early. Martin did a great job in talking about his own experience and urging people to go to their doctors if they have concerns.

Cancer Champions with ideas about other ways of getting ‘early diagnosis’ message across can contact Holly or Michelle
